Become a Member of OSPS

I'm so glad you've made it to the membership page!  We love members!  And, I invite you to become a member of OSPS.  Why?  Since 1989 OSPS has had the mission to educate people about psychoanalysis.  We have grown into a vibrant and thoughtful community of clinicians, students, scholars, and all sorts of professionals.

There are three great reasons to become a member but I think the best reason to be a member is to connect with friends and colleagues.  We hope you will make OSPS your professional home.

But our friendliness is not the only reason to join.   Members get a discount on all our seminars.  We usually offer monthly seminars from September through May.  So, join now and get a break on all our seminars.

Membership will also allow you free access to our social network.  That's right, we have our own social network!  Our social network will help you get to know members, make referrals to members, learn about our events, and have discussions about a variety of psychoanalytic subjects.  It acts as our space to be together when we're not in the same room.

Membership is very affordable and costs just $50 this year for regular members and $25 for associate members.  I hope you'll join today and I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!

Society Purpose

The Oklahoma Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (OSPS) is a local chapter of Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) of the American Psychological Association. This chapter was established in 1989  by a group of professionals interested in a forum for the pursuit of the study of Psychoanalytic literature, theory and practice. The intent is to provide an opportunity for interested individuals to develop and expand their knowledge of Psychoanalytic theory. These goals are accomplished through monthly meetings, periodic lectures and workshops.

As a member of OSPS, you can be actively involved in promoting interest in Psychoanalytic studies in Oklahoma. As a Member you can vote, serve on committees, hold office and participate in all OSPS activities at reduced rates. Associate Members may also serve on committees and participate in chapter activities at reduced rates.
